A. FUNDING AGENCIES AND PROGRAMMES UNDER AEGIS
MINISTRY OF WOMEN AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT, GOVERNMENT OF INDIA
It was set up a department in 1985,by the Government of India and then developed in to Ministry aiming at “The holistic development of women and children” JYDC has also received support from MoWCD, to set up a child line sub-center, Sandeshkhali in North 24 Parganas of Indian Sundarban Delta.

Child Line Project
India’s only and most widespread children’s phone emergency outreach service (1098) for children in need of care and protection. Dhamakhali being the gateway of the Sundarbans and Sundarbans with its porous borders highly prone to child trafficking ,child marriages and the other child rights issues.

Supports:
Drinking Water Testing Laboratory
JYDC took up the Drinking Water Testing Laboratory Initiative in 2008. The facility covers 16 Gram panchayats of Sandeskhali –I and II block. Target number of tube wells is in between 12 and 20. A water facilitator collects water sample and brings to laboratory.
JYDC has extensively disseminated information in form of awareness camps (in school and social gatherings) and distribution of leaflets to generate awareness amongst people about arsenic and health implications. The drinking water testing laboratory in the premises of JYDC office at Sandeshkhali has the following equipment:

The following parameters are tested for water quality, by collecting sample from more than 3000 hand pumps /(Tube wells) twice every year:

C. North 24 Pargana Zilla Parisad
North 24 Parganas District Zilla Parisad, is the third tier of the panchyati raj system, and is headed by an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer. It has a close link with JYDC and provides the following support system.

SANITATION PROGRAMME (MISSION NIRMAL BANGLA UNDER SBM)
As they say, if water is life, sanitation is a way of life. To commemorate this idea, the North 24 Parganas Zilla Parisad has supported us in extending sanitary facilities in form of low-cost toilet and organizing rural sanitary marts to raise the bar of hygiene-related awareness. North 24 Parganas Zilla has been declared as a “NIRMAL ZILLA” because of 100% coverage of sanitation programme Mission Nirmal Bangla under the Swachha Bharat Mission.

D. NABARD
NATIONAL BANK FOR AGRICULTURE ANR RURAL DEVELOPMENT:(Govt. of India)
NABARD was established to implement special programme under the National Bank For Agriculture and Rural Development Act 1981, replacing the Agriculture Credit Department (ACD) and Rural Planning and credit Cell (RPCC) of Reserve Bank of India, and agriculture Refinance and Development Corporation (ARDC). It is one of the premier agencies to provide credit in rural areas.

In this way we the JYDC and KVK, Ashokenagar &Fishery and animal university Belgachia, Kolkata Jointly Lunching NICRA Project at Kalita, Samsernagar Under Hingalgnaj Block, North 24 Parganas.
H. Nehru Yuva Kendra, North 24 Parganas- Ministry of Human Resources Development, Department of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India
Nehru Yuba Kendra, in accordance with the promotional theme of human resource development, has provided support to JYDC to upgraded skill of the rural woman on one side and also encourages talents in the field of outdoor sports, amongst other programs.
- JYDC with support from Nehru Yuva Kendra, has imparted Tailoring training 60 rural women, in a batch of 30 every year.
- JYDC has also successfully connected marked linkage with district headquarter market, so that the trained women can augment family income by using the tailoring skill. The bulk traders supply the raw material for getting the finished product.
- JYDC has also provided 16 clubs with Footballs and Volley ball’s for upgrading skill in sports.
- JYDC with support from Nehru yuva Kendra, has imparted of youth Leadership Training programme (Residential) at JYDC Training Hall on 15.02.16 to 17.02.16 for 40 participants, who are coming from 20 local clubs.

Pharmaceutical Ltd. This is also a permanent programme of the organization. The charitable Neuropsychiatry camp in collaboration with Intas Pharmaceutical Ltd. Dr. P. Bhaumik MD (AIIMS New Delhi) senior consultant (ESI Hospital)present in each camp with other renowned doctor.

BLOOD DONATION CAMP:
Like every year this year (5th May 2023) also we have organized a BLOOD DONATION CAMP in our organization’s own premises. This year it was more sophisticated and people from various island of Indian Sundarban delta areas happily joined the programme and contributed their valuable Blood. Thinking the emergent need of Blood for dying patients. We used to organize this program every year with the help of blood bank (Govt of W.B).Every donor is provided with a certificate and a beautiful complimentary gift.

Block officers, Sabhapati & Prodhan, and local respected persons are present and boost-up the programme.

Cluster Development programme on Manufacturing of Readymade Garments Product and New Model Charkha Sub Centre, under Dept. of Micro, Small, medium enterprises & Textile, Govt. of West Bengal. The project is conceptualized as integrated for the development of cluster among the members of SHGs promotion of dress making (garments) product manufacturing and Spinning Charkha unites through participation of women through promotion of self-help groups (SHGs) by the organization with the financial supports and technical guidance of the WB Khadi & V.I Board.

Lead Club Salt Lake Down Town(IWD329), Inner Wheel Club Calcutta Mid Town:
The area of our operation area is remote place of Indian Sundarban delta region. In this areas are low voltage electricity and water is salinity. In this connection lead club Salt Lake down (IWD-329) supported a Solar energy system project Inaugurated by DC Anita Ghosh on 10th January 2021 and an Aquaguard – Pure chill RO+UV donated by Inner Wheel Club of Calcutta Mid town on 12th October 2021.
